Sleeve and mandrel made from blue passivated (A2K) galvanised steel
- ZEBRA® rivets are classified as "high strength" thanks to their fully-supporting mandrel, which always tears off at the swage-head level of the rivet sleeve, therefore taking on a supporting function over the entire length of the rivet. This feature ensures a consistently high connection quality. The even, large and cleanly shaped closing head prevents the rivet from pulling out of the drill hole. Thus thin-walled components can also be safely and strongly connected.
